Cité Moderne is a quintessential garden city constructed in Brussels in the early 1920s, during the inter-war period. The concept of the garden city was intended to foster the domestic life of working-class families. This video depicts fragments of the present in connection with the diverse architectural forms of the buildings located in this garden city. The images reveal the deteriorating state of the buildings, showcasing their ruins.
