Right Now, Right Here, Here Now (2025)
custom wooden speaker housing containing two loudspeakers, wooden construction functioning as both bench and table for the book, carpet
Right Now, Right Here, Here Now is the is an installation combining sound, publication, and scenography, developed in collaboration with Evelyn Vanoverbeke. The work reuses materials from a previous scenographic setup, retaining traces of their earlier function while transforming them into two freestanding elements: one for sound and one for the book.
The audio is played through a custom-built wooden speaker activated by a motion sensor, responding only to the presence of a visitor. The book is presented in a partially open structure that reveals its internal organization. A carpeted floor defines the space as a place for lingering, linking listening and reading through bodily presence.
The project was presented as part of the public programme of Adresse at the Ancienne Maison des Langues de la Province de Liège in autumn 2025, curated by Sophie Delhasse and Thibaud Leplat.
